Character Info
◎ Character's Name: Schrodinger
◎ Character's Canon: Hellsing Ultimate
◎ Character's Age: Unknown, appears early teens.
◎ Canon Point: OVA 10
◎ Background/History: Here
◎ Is the character a hacker and/or do they have a sixth-sense? Quantum Superposition – detailed in powers and abilities.
◎ Personality: “I am everywhere and nowhere.” Schrödinger is a being that sees himself to be free of the rules and limitations of most people, to him the world is wide open and he is free to go anywhere that he desires at any point; he has no sense or thought that any space is off limits or blocked. This simple fact is shown in his debut in the series in which he first simply appears in the middle of a secret meeting between the Queen, Hellsing, and the Iscariot; casually walking towards the table as if it were perfectly normal and fine for him to be there. The point is further illustrated when after that same mission he returns to the blimp only to make himself comfortable in the major’s chair without hesitation, moving only when physically picked up and removed by the doctor.
There is no place or thought that is private as the werecat even has no qualms about invading the privacy of people’s minds and thoughts, as is seen in his infiltration of Zorin’s mind moments before she died. Trespassing not simply into the physical space of the Hellsing mannor but her very consciousness, simply to mock and taunt her in addition to delivering the message that she had failed and was useless to their organization.
This of course goes to show his crass nature and un-empathic treatment of others as well. He childishly and lightheartedly taunts those on the brink of death without showing any compassion for them; as seen in his grinning farewell to Rip Van Winkle, and the lighthearted teasing of Zorin who he reveals was only not burned to a crisp because the major and doc had something more interesting to do. It could be argued that this idea comes from his belief of a lack of boundaries, or it could be argued this it is his own disconnect from death that causes him to view it in such a lighthearted and playful manner.
In reality, it is a combination of both in addition to a youthful personality and appearance. The lack of boundaries when it comes to speaking with other people is further illustrated in the manner in which he speaks to the major. Despite being a lower level officer he teases the major about being fat, as well as suggesting he go on a diet and took far too long to walk from one room to another; Schrödinger points out that in the same time he had gotten his head blown off and traveled all the way from England. Furthermore he continues to refer to Integra as Fräulein even after the Major had recognized her as a worthy opponent and stopped doing so, and in a lesser degree in the manner in which stares intensely at Seras for a several seconds before greeting her and ignoring everyone else in the room.
This lack of boundaries likely stems from his lack of fear of repercussion, and thus his disconnect from death and its meaning. It is clear that to Schrödinger bodily harm and death are not a threat or really anything more than a trivial matter. Within the series this is seen in several instances when Schrödinger appears. The first ties back into the first appearance mentioned, in which after infiltrating the secret meeting and delivering the message from the major Schrödinger has his head blown off. Rather than simply observing himself to be elsewhere or attempting to not be shot, Schrödinger seems to open his mouth around the barrel and allows himself to be shot. It happens a second time as well when he invited Integra onto the blimp and he simply stands there as she pulls a gun and shoots him in the head. The ultimate display though of his lack of fear for pain and death comes with what he knew would be his final act, his self-decapitation and allowing himself to be absorbed by Alucard. Schrödinger was able to take a simple SS knife and dig it into his own neck, severing his head from his body in a gruesome unnecessary manner all while grinning madly.
Schrödinger is a being that is everywhere and nowhere, watching everything, fearing nothing. He is a childish monster, who disconnected from the world and from death views everything with a dark and manic personality. Created for one that loved war, he enjoys the carnage and suffering that comes from fighting; created by one wanting to surpass God, he feels unbound and free to go anywhere he sees fit. Schrödinger exists and doesn’t exist, so long as recognizes himself what the world does, says, or thinks, has no effect on him; it only serves to offer him something to watch and be entertained by.
◎ Powers/Abilities: Quantum superposition (exists partly in all its particular theoretically possible states (or, configuration of its properties) simultaneously; but when measured or observed, it gives a result corresponding to only one of the possible configurations)
Essentially he is everywhere and nowhere. When he dies he simply stops observing himself momentarily and appears wherever it is he observes himself to be; able to appear even in people’s thoughts or dreams. This also grants him the ability to change himself in minor ways, appearing with or without a tail, and in essence to regenerate himself even after fatal blows.
As he is being observed by the code/setting of the game this will limit him to being trapped within the premises of the game.
◎ Weapons & Other Special Inventory: Hilter Youth Uniform, SS knife with the words inscribed into it "Meine Ehre heißt Treue" or "My honor is loyalty".
CEREALIA-Specific
◎ Element: Air
◎ Sense: Hearing, this is due to his cat like appearance and ears which allow him to easily hear and eavesdrop on any conversation.
◎ Seven Character Traits: Curious, Aloof, Sadistic, Eager, Rude, Obedient, & Daring

After a few moments and some more button smashing it stabilizes a bit with a magnificent view over the entertainment district. A pair of pink eyes coming into view as a cat-boy appears on the screen. When he speaks there is a moderate German accent to the voice, the tone light and aloof while addressing the camera.]
Ah there we go.
Guten tag.
This is quite a city. There are quite a lot of things to see for it to be a simple colony. But I have already seen everything. While they were droning on and on about research and code, I've gone around the whole place and visited each.
The Flamines, they sound much like mein major, wanting nothing but to see worlds in ruin and destroying all that they can. But then the major had his war, and I have done my job perfectly and defeated the monster.
So I suppose I might as well see what kind of war will come to pass here. I look forward to it, so until then.
Auf Wiedersehen
◎ Third-Person Sample:
Blood soaked streets, the stench of burning flesh and smoke filling the air as buildings are razed to the ground, the hopeless cowardly cries piercing through the air; Schrodinger could see why the major compared it to a symphony; it was rather a glorious thing to behold. A masterpiece really that he was able to behold up to his final minute, taking it all in as the blade dug into his neck and severed through his spine. The fall from that height into the river of blood and corpses below, all of them being sucked into one single monster, millions of lives all converging into a single being the climax of the entire evening. It wasn't until he became a part that faceless, lifeless mob that it went black.
But then there was the text flashing in front of him, Start. It seemed that a new game was awaiting him. They promised a new war, new destruction and bloodshed by aliens called the Falmines. The thought and anticipation brought a grin to Schrodinger's lips as he sat atop the sign for Niteo and watched the secret exchanges happening in the valley below. They had asked for him to do something to help, but Schrodinger had simply vanished and appeared here, though it was strange that he seemed to be locked to the limitations of the colony for the time being. He was curious and wanted to see things for himself and see who else was here before he was given too much work again. After all the major had kept him rather busy running around so often while he simply sat back and stuffed his face.
As a man is tossed out to the curve Schrodinger leans forward a bit, and in the blink of an eye goes from the sign to the alley as he examines the person.
“Are you ok? You look awful?”
Then again considering that they had clearly been worked over and beaten half to death it was pretty obvious that the person was far from being alright. In fact the only response was a shallow cough as they curled up a little more. Rather than help or leave the pour soul at piece Schrodinger simply circled a little.
“My, my, you must have failed pretty badly for them to go through all this. I wonder why they simply wouldn’t have terminated you though. Perhaps they simply already have a new toy, or they think that this is a more fitting punishment for what you did.”
Picking up a box that had been tossed out as well he let out a small laugh.
“Oh, or perhaps they are simply the kind that would shoot the messenger.”
